The property owner has no active management responsibility for the energy system. HNordic monitors, operates, and maintains it remotely for the duration of the operating agreement.
One of the most common concerns at the evaluation stage is what the energy system will require of the property owner to manage. The answer is nothing active — HNordic's operating model takes full responsibility for system operation from commissioning to the end of the agreement term.
Remote monitoring — the AI energy management system monitors generation output, battery state of charge, inverter performance, and grid connection status continuously. Anomalies — underperformance, sensor faults, connectivity gaps — are flagged and addressed by HNordic's operations team without the property owner needing to be involved.
Grid-services market participation — HNordic's energy SPV manages the battery's participation in the Swedish and GB frequency-services markets. Product selection, capacity bidding, and dispatch management are handled by the AI system and HNordic's trading operations. The property owner does not interact with Svenska Kraftnät, NESO, or any aggregator.
Maintenance — scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repair are HNordic's responsibility under the operating agreement. No separate maintenance contract is required. This includes battery management system updates, inverter servicing, turbine inspection where wind generation is installed, and any physical repair work.
Performance reporting — HNordic provides periodic performance reports summarising energy generation, consumption optimisation, grid-services income accrued, and EPC metric improvement over the reporting period.
Visibility without obligation. HNordic's AI energy management platform (EcoHub) provides a dashboard showing the property's generation, consumption, and energy income in real time. The property owner can view the system's performance at any point. Viewing the dashboard is optional — the system operates whether the owner logs in or not.
Contracted energy income. The operating agreement defines the terms under which energy income accrues to the property owner. This is a contractual entitlement — the property owner does not need to calculate it, report it to the grid operator, or negotiate it with any market participant.
A single point of contact. Any question about the system, its performance, or the operating agreement is addressed through HNordic. The property owner does not maintain relationships with the battery manufacturer, the inverter supplier, the grid operator, or the frequency-services aggregator. One contact covers all of these.
Faults are detected by the monitoring system, typically before the property owner is aware of them. HNordic's operations team assesses the fault remotely in the first instance — many faults (inverter trips, connectivity issues) are resolved without any physical intervention. Where physical intervention is required, HNordic dispatches a commissioning partner to carry out the repair.
The property owner is informed of significant faults and kept updated on resolution. They are not required to take any action.
