The deal structure
Contracted energy rebate paid directly to you, depending on fuse size. Paid from date of installation.
Fixed ten-year term from installation date. Predictable income with no operational exposure.
HNordic finances the rest 65% of hardware and installation cost with up to 10-year payment plan.
How it works
We review your property's grid connection, fuse size, and energy profile. One conversation is usually enough to establish whether a BESS installation makes sense and what the rebate would be.
HNordic selects and finances the battery system, covering 65% of hardware cost. The system is installed on your premises and connected to your grid supply.
We operate the system. Revenue comes from energy arbitrage on Nord Pool, frequency regulation (FCR-D, FCR-N), and peak demand suppression. None of that is your concern.
You receive a contracted energy rebate -- up to 22.5% depending on fuse size -- for the full ten-year term. Paid directly to you from the date the system goes live.
Revenue streams
The battery charges during low-price periods on Nord Pool and discharges during peak pricing windows, capturing the spread continuously.
FCR-D and FCR-N participation provides fast-response grid balancing services — one of the highest-value revenue streams for industrial battery assets.
Eliminating demand peaks reduces grid charges for the host site and generates additional value through demand-side management contracts.
Where applicable, the battery system powers EV charging infrastructure on site — adding a further income stream from the same installed asset.
Most site assessments take one conversation. We identify what the rebate would be for your fuse size and energy profile — and what the numbers look like before you commit to anything.
